SI.35:Renegade was created out of a long love for adventure stories, writing, and traveling. When I first discovered shōnen manga as a kid, I was immediately fascinated by how vividly and raw stories could unfold on the page. Creating a manga became a way to translate the scenes in my head into something visual, almost cinematic in feeling, but possible to create with few resources.

The story first existed as a written draft before life took priority. After finishing school, pursuing my studies, and working on other projects, I eventually returned to this manga in 2017, with a clearer vision and renewed commitment.

SI.35:Renegade is the kind of story I would have loved to read as a kid, and the kind I now enjoy pouring my soul into as an adult. The themes explored in the story often revolve around finding one’s own path, discovering new places, living through exciting adventures and meeting new, unexpected people along the journey.

Many of the characters carry heavy losses from their past and faced rejection along the way, yet they keep moving forward. Through places, through people, and through the things we all carry with us.
